Food from kefir is tasty and nutritious, incredibly easy to prepare. You can even use an expired product for such recipes. Pieces, muffins, pancakes are cooked from the "sour milk" using a griddle or oven. Below I will describe the most simple, tasty and frequently used options of dishes.

Eggs, bread, kefir

For every hostess who loves cooking, if the recipe provides for quickness and simplicity, it is especially valuable. After all, it can help out if there is not enough time in the reserve, but there is a need to quickly bake something tasty for tea. Therefore, when the hostess asks herself the question “what to bake out of kefir in a quick way?”, Baking comes to mind: cakes, muffins or cakes. I'll start with the recipe for the cake.

Cake

Ingredients:
  • Egg - 3 pcs.
  • Kefir - 1 cup.

When the cupcake is ready, pull it out of the oven and cool it down. When the baking reaches room temperature, remove from the mold.

Ingredients:
  • Kefir - 250 ml.
  • Wheat flour - 3.5 cups.
  • Egg - 2 pcs.
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp.
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tsp.
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
  • Salt - ¼ tsp.
Cooking:

Combine kefir, eggs, sugar, soda and butter in a bowl.

In the resulting mass slowly stir the flour. It is best to do gradually, in a glass, stirring with a spoon.The finished dough should not stick to the hands, however, it is impossible to “overdo it” with flour, otherwise it will become hard, inelastic, and the cakes will not turn out to be lush.

As soon as the dough is ready, proceed to the preparation of the filling: meat, potato, with egg and onion.

Brushwood

Ingredients:
  • Kefir - 1 cup.
  • Egg - 1 pc.
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp. l.
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l ..
  • Salt - ½ tsp.
  • Soda - ½ tsp.
  • Wheat flour - 3 cups.
  • Vanilla sugar - to taste.
Cooking:
  1. Mix the egg with sugar and vanilla, then add salt.
  2. In the resulting mixture, add the fermented milk products and butter. At the end add soda.
  3. Almost ready to mix dough in a homogeneous mass. Sifted flour, slowly stirring, pour into the resulting egg mass.
  4. Be sure to cover the dough and set it to rise in a warm dark place.
  5. After 20 minutes, divide into two equal parts, roll out in the form of rectangles. Cut the resulting sheets into smaller rectangles. Cut each piece in the middle and turn one half through the hole in the opposite direction.
  6. On a hot skillet fry the twigs produced on both sides.Before serving, it is best to sprinkle with baking sugar powder.

Puffs

Ingredients:
  • Wheat flour - 800 grams.
  • Kefir - 1 liter.
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Soda - 1 tsp.
Cooking:
  1. Pour kefir into a large bowl, add sugar, salt and soda. The resulting mass is thoroughly knead, and gradually pour the previously sifted flour.
  2. If the dough sticks to your hands a little, sprinkle it lightly with flour, but you should not be zealous, otherwise it will turn out like rubber.
  3. We divide the dough into approximately equal balls and roll out, but not too much. The thickness should be about three to four millimeters.
  4. On the preheated pan lay out the resulting buns, and fry on both sides until a golden blush.

Serve hot with honey, jam and warm milk!

Ingredients:
  • Kefir - 1 liter.
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Soda - pinch.
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l.
  • Flour - 5 glasses.
  • Chicken eggs - 4 pcs.
Cooking:

All ingredients, except for oil, mix until smooth, and only then add it. The dough should turn out a little thicker than for pancakes.

Biscuit

Ingredients:
  • Egg - 1 pc.
  • Kefir - 7 tbsp. l.
  • Sugar - 0,5 glasses.
  • Wheat flour - 1 cup.
  • Soda - 1 tbsp. l.
Cooking:

Mix the ingredients in a deep bowl. From the presented number of products, three medium-sized cakes are obtained. For the filling, you can use jam, jam, condensed milk or any cream.
