How to Meal Prep - Ep. 12 - STIR-FRY
Protein-packed chicken stir-fry
1. Wok and roll
Fire up the flame. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in your shallow pan or wok, toss in the asparagus and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add loud music to sharpen your wok-star moves.
2. Sherry good
Dust off a bottle of aunties favourite Christmas tipple. Add 2-3 tbsp, followed by the carrots and mushrooms. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.
3. Veggie Kray
Chuck in the chopped spring onions and red pepper. Stir-fry in the style of Vin Diesel (ie fast and furious) for a further minute.
4. Sauce plan
Still on a high heat setting, add the bean sprouts and all of the oyster sauce ingredients in rapid succession. Stir-fry for approximately 30 seconds to blend together seamlessly, much like a Wenger midfield.
5. Chooks away
Whip your wok from the heat and quickly toss in the shredded roast chicken (itll warm up almost instantly so theres no need to put it back on the heat). Serve hot in deep bowls, with chopsticks and large bibs. Complement with a light, pale beer such as Asahi.
