A friendly picnic with barbecue and shish kebabs is a classic of May holidays. To make the rest a success, we have prepared five special recipes for delicious kebabs. Nothing heavy and fat: after lunch, you still have the strength to walk in the fresh air.

For a small company we need:

  • 900 g turkey fillet
  • 3-4 oranges
  • piece of ginger
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste

In order to cook the skewers, you need to cut the tender turkey fillet into portions, so that it is convenient to string on a skewer or skewers. Squeeze juice from all oranges. Grate zest of one orange, one and a half teaspoons of ginger and garlic and add to marinade. Stir the marinade, leave the turkey pieces in it for about an hour. Salt, pepper, string on skewers and cook for 15–20 minutes on the grill, pouring over the marinade and gradually turning it over.

We will need:

  • 3-4 trout
  • 3-4 sprigs of fresh rosemary and thyme
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 1 lemon
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Finely chop the garlic, chili pepper and herbs. Mix with five tablespoons of olive oil and sliced ​​half lemon. Rinse and dry gutted trout. Sprinkle the fish with coarse salt and pepper and fill with the mixture. Leave to marinate for about one hour. Then fry the trout on the grill on each side for 4–5 minutes.

We will need:

  • 10–12 champignons
  • 3 sweet bell peppers (you can take multicolored)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 sprigs of thyme and rosemary (you can take tarragon, tarragon or basil)
  • 1 lemon
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Mushrooms cut in half. Onions cut into large rings. Pepper - squares. Pour 4–5 tablespoons of olive oil into a bowl, add lemon juice, chopped herbs and garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste. Champignons, onions and peppers are spread on skewers, greased with marinade and cook, turning over and gradually lubricating the marinade, 5-7 minutes.

Thai style beef kebab in spicy sauce

We will need:

  • 1 kilo beef tenderloin

For marinade:

  • 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of honey
  • half onion, finely chopped
  • 6 tbsp. spoons of Thai fish sauce (it is sold in large supermarkets)
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of sunflower or olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp. spoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

All the ingredients of the marinade as should be mixed. Cut the beef along the fibers into small strips approximately 3 centimeters wide. Meat can be a little beat off. Place the meat in the marinade, mix, cover with foil and refrigerate for 2–3 hours.

After the meat has been marinated, put the strips of the accordion on the skewers and cook on the grill for about 25 minutes, not forgetting to turn over. You can water the marinade.

Pork shashlik in yogurt

Pork shashlik in yogurt

We will need:

  • 2 kg of pork
  • a glass of savory greek yogurt
  • a pinch of saffron
  • 3-4 bulbs
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste

Cut meat into cubes. Soak the saffron in a tablespoon of water. Squeeze garlic, onion cut into rings.In yogurt, add onion, garlic, saffron, mix. Place the meat in the marinade and leave for three hours.

Pepper can be added immediately, but with salt there is a secret. Barbeque connoisseurs recommend not to salt the meat, but to sprinkle it when frying with salt water. So the meat will keep all its juices. Pork with onions planted on skewers and fry on the grill, gradually turning, until done.
