This fruit came to us from South America, it is there that they consider it as a “national” product, which is used everywhere and practically without exception in all dishes, to some extent it resembles our potato, it is sometimes even compared with this vegetable.

But, of course, the ripe avocado is significantly different in taste, its flesh is slightly reminiscent of melon, soft and slightly oily, it is well used in cold snacks or salads.

Avocado has one interesting property: the absence of its own pronounced taste is replaced by the fact that it perfectly absorbs the tastes and smells of other ingredients of the dish, but it also makes the dish light, soft and very rich.

As we have said, the fruit itself is very useful, so that it can become an indispensable component of many dishes for those who care about their health.

Interestingly, avocados can be called the champion in calories among all vegetable vegetables and fruits on Earth, because it contains as much as 30% fat, and there are 220 kcal per 100 g of product!

But the beauty is that these fats dissolve in the body fairly easily and quickly, plus the whole avocado not only does not contain cholesterol, but also helps to break it down!

But the benefits on this, of course, do not end: the fruits of avocados can boast a huge amount of vitamins E and F, plus vitamin B, A, D and PP.This fruit is useful for people with a lack of potassium, as well as those who suffer from diseases of the cardiovascular system, atherosclerosis and bowel diseases.

In order to prepare a truly delicious dish, you need to understand how to choose an avocado so that it is ripe, fresh, healthy, because this fruit is exotic, and therefore we rarely see it in the form in which it should be.

Remember that an unripe avocado is completely tasteless, like raw potatoes or something close to it, so it's better not to take chances.

Ripe fruit must have a shiny peel without cracks and dents, otherwise it will speak about its overripe. Take it in your hand and slightly squeeze, if you give in, it means that the fruit is in the right condition. If you still got a green fruit, you can quickly bring it to the senses: put it for a day in a cellophane bag with an apple ripen for a day, and not in the refrigerator! Usually this time is enough that the avocado is ripe.

Chicken and Avocado Salad Recipe

To prepare you will need:

  • 350 g chicken fillet;
  • 2 pcs. radishes;
  • 1 PC. avocado;
  • 2 pcs. tomatoes;
  • lettuce leaves, spices;
  • olive oil, mayonnaise.

To begin to learn how to carve avocados. To do this, cut it along, rotate the knife along the bone, and then unfold the two halves so that the fruit is divided into two parts, in one of them will remain a bone, which is easily separated by a spoon. The pulp is easily removed with a spoon, if the fruit is very soft or with a knife. Cut it into oblong slices and set aside.

By the way, if the salad has to stand for a long time on the table, then the avocado can be sprinkled with lemon juice, which will prevent oxidative reactions, and the fruit itself will stop darkening. Avocado and Shrimp Salad Recipe

To prepare you will need:

  • 100 g of pineapple;
  • 70 grams of shrimp;
  • 1 avocado;
  • mayonnaise, salt, cognac.

Cut the avocado, as in the previous recipe, get a bone, clean the flesh, leaving the outer shell whole. Cut the flesh into small pieces, at this time we boil the shrimps. Now we clear the pineapple, cut it into large cubes, and then proceed to create the sauce.

Delicious salad

To do this, mix the mayonnaise with cognac in a 2: 1 ratio, then add avocado pulp, pineapple and shrimp to it, mix everything thoroughly. The most important thing in this dish is a beautiful serve: in the avocado halves we spread the prepared salad, if you wish, you can decorate everything with greens. This dish does very simply, but looks very festive and direct.

Recipe for cream soup from avocado and zucchini

To prepare you will need:

  • 2 pcs. avocado;
  • 1 large zucchini;
  • 1 cup of drinking yogurt;
  • 1 PC. lemon;
  • Mint, pepper, salt, coriander, ground Zira;
  • olive oil.

Thoroughly wash the zucchini, then cut them into small slices, sprinkle with lemon juice, sprinkle with spices (to taste), mix everything thoroughly and send to a steamer for 10 minutes.There they must reach a state of softness.

Adequately chic restaurant

In the double boiler there should be liquid from zucchini, you need her whole glass, which must be sent to the freezer for 1 hour. At this time, proceed to the avocado: peel and cut off the seeds, cut into small slices, also sprinkle with lemon juice and a tablespoon of olive oil, then send to a blender, where everything is whipped until smooth, then add the yogurt and boiled zucchini, again whip.

Separate mint leaves from the stalks; you will need only a few twigs. Leave a couple of leaves to decorate the dish, and send the rest to the blender.

Now that one hour has passed, you can add cooled liquid from the zucchini to the total mass, after which we beat all the ingredients again. Cream soup is ready, it remains to pour it on plates, sprinkle with olive oil, pepper and garnish with mint leaves. And remember, this is such a dish that you need to eat immediately. By the way, who does not like mint, it can easily be replaced with any other greens to taste.
