How to protect the skin in the winter

Try to ventilate the apartment more often, use a humidifier. If you do not have it, you can wet the sheet or a large piece of cloth and put it on the battery, wetting as it dries.
Do not wash too often, if the working conditions allow it. Take a warm shower with a moisturizing gel or use a very mild soap. After taking a shower, you should not wipe the towel dry, it is better to apply oil for babies or moisturizer on wet skin, and then leave it until completely absorbed. Remember that after applying the cream the skin remains moist longer than after using body lotion.
Lubricate your hands with a cream after each wash, even if you are working in rubber gloves. The cream should be fatter than the one you use in the summer. Going outside, apply the cream on the face and hygienic lipstick on the lips. Avoid wearing items made of barbed wool and coarse fabrics, because they can irritate the skin.
Remember that snow can reflect up to 80% of the sun's rays.In the mountains at high altitudes, the risk of burns increases, so if you go to the mountains, use a sunblock with an SPF of at least 30. When doing mountain sports, be sure to wear a face mask or special glasses, because they protect against chalking and frostbite.
