Cloth flower stands
Make unusual flower pots in pots. Such napkins will look much more interesting than clay saucers, which usually come complete with a pot, especially if the plants are in the room. You can also use them for glasses or hot cups. Besides, this is a good way to put into work the remnants of fabric and shreds that are too small to sew something serious out of them.
- Trims fabric.
- Sewing machine or thread with a needle.
- Flower in a pot (optional).
Cutting the details
Cut out a square of cloth that you plan to use for the central part of the stand. You can use burlap, it is made from natural materials and will be well combined with live plants. Make the stand multi-layered so that it absorbs better the moisture that is leaking from the pot. The side parts should be slightly longer than the side of the square. Add a hem allowance to the length if you want to hem the edges so that they do not become tousled.
We sew the details
First stitch several layers of the central part to each other so that they do not disperse. Then, sew the side details to the central part so thatHow do you like! It is easiest to sew first the opposite edges, then the remaining two edges. You can also sew the side parts in a circle so that each next one overlaps the previous one. Choose your version or make different ones. Done!
Arrange the flowers, glasses or anything else on the stand and enjoy the result of your work!
