Bright dishes with walnuts

Why exactly walnuts?

The recipe is the first

Sweet tooths will definitely appreciate the nut cake, for the preparation of which you will need:

  • 270-300 g of granulated sugar (suitable powder);
  • 2/3 cup of cream (with a fat content of at least 30-35%);
  • 200-250 g of peeled walnuts;
  • two sachets of vanillin;
  • nine eggs;
  • a pack (250 g) of butter;
  • a glass of hazelnuts.


  1. Hazelnuts (peeled) need to grind in a coffee grinder or blender, it will serve as a certain basis. But walnuts simply cut with a knife, so that their taste is clearly felt in the dessert.
  2. Separate the whites from the yolks and whisk well to make a foam. In it, carefully enter the hazelnuts and walnuts, as well as half of the available sugar. Cover two baking sheets of the same shape with baking paper, place half of the peanut dough into them and bake it at 170-180 degrees for thirty or forty minutes.
  3. While the cakes are baked, prepare the cream. Pour the remaining yolks into the pan, add the vanilla, cream and the remaining sugar. Heat the mixture slowly over low heat, stirring constantly and actively to achieve density. Next, enter the oil, mix everything well.
  4. Separate the finished cakes from the parchment, one of them generously grease with yolk and butter cream (leave a little for decoration), put the other on top. Coat the surface of the cake with cream, if desired, decorate with powdered sugar, grated chocolate or cocoa.

Second recipe

For dessert, you can cook a beautiful apple baked with honey and walnuts.

The list of ingredients per serving will be as follows:

  • an Apple;
  • about 25-30 (about 3 tbsp.) walnuts;
  • two tablespoons of honey;
  • some cinnamon powdered sugar (optional).


  1. Apple should be thoroughly washed and dried. Now, with a knife, carefully cut the core out of it so that the emptiness remains inside.
  2. In an apple, lay walnuts, pre-peeled and cut with a knife. Put honey on them. If desired, add some cinnamon to taste. On top of the apple you can cover the top, if you do not throw it away.
  3. Cover the baking tray with parchment, put the stuffed apple in it and bake at 180 degrees in the oven for about twenty minutes.
  4. A simple and useful dessert is ready!

Third recipe

From walnuts you can make Georgian spicy dish - satsivi. For this you will need:

  • 1 kg of chicken fillet;
  • 2 onions;
  • a glass of chopped walnuts;
  • 1.5 Art. l. wine vinegar;
  • hl hops-suneli;
  • cilantro bunch;
  • 15-20 g of oil (or vegetable, or butter);
  • five cloves of garlic;
  • half acres. saffron;
  • hl coriander.


  1. Wash the chicken fillet, immerse it in whole pieces in a saucepan with water and cook for about twenty minutes. Next, take it out (do not pour the broth, it will be required), grease it with a little oil and bake it in the oven for twenty minutes.
  2. Next, do the cooking of the sauce. Peel the onion, chop it, fry it in the remaining oil for about seven minutes. Pour the flour in, continue to fry everything together for a couple of minutes, and then pour in the broth to make the sauce quite thin.
  3. Next, grind the nuts, add to the sauce along with all the seasonings and vinegar, stew on low heat for about ten minutes.
  4. Chop the chicken, immerse in the sauce and simmer for ten minutes.
  5. At the end, add chopped cilantro, chopped garlic and salt, cover the dish with a lid, and after a minute remove the container from the plate.

Fourth recipe

Make a healthy salad with walnuts.


  • 1 large enough beets;
  • 50-70 grams of prunes;
  • half a cup of walnuts;
  • three or four garlic cloves;
  • salt;
  • sour cream or mayonnaise for dressing (determine the amount yourself).


  1. Beets must be cooked until complete readiness: it should be quite soft, but not boiled soft.As soon as it cools down a little, rub it on a medium grater.
  2. If the prunes are hard, then literally fill it with hot water for a couple of minutes, so it will soften. Next, cut it into small pieces or chop using a blender.

The fifth recipe

From walnuts can get spicy sauce. For its preparation you need:

  • half a glass of chopped walnuts;
  • cilantro bunch;
  • four cloves of garlic;
  • 2-3 hours l. wine vinegar (preferably red);
  • a quarter of a teaspoon of ground red pepper;
  • a quarter teaspoon of coriander;
  • ¼ tsp. turmeric;
  • half a cup of broth (for example, vegetable or chicken).

Cooking process:

  1. Peel the garlic, mince it several times through a meat grinder, or shred well in a blender to form a homogeneous pasty mass.
  2. Chop the cilantro with a knife.
  3. In a bowl, combine the garlic-nut mass, vinegar, chopped coriander, turmeric, pepper and coriander, add the broth. To make the sauce become tender and homogeneous, whisk it with a blender or a mixer.
  4. This sauce goes well with fish, vegetables, poultry and meat.
